The Data Scientist training is designed for beginners, career changers, and professionals who want to further develop their skills in data science and artificial intelligence, either part-time alongside their job or full-time.

Solid basic knowledge of mathematics, particularly statistics, probability theory, and linear algebra, is an advantage. Initial exposure to programming (e.g. Python) is helpful, but not a mandatory requirement.

To ensure that the training is optimally suited to your profile, you will complete an aptitude test in advance. This allows us to assess whether the program matches your current skills and career goals.

As the training is 100% online, you will need:

    • a computer or laptop
    • a stable internet connection
    • a webcam for live masterclasses

Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive recognized certificates that validate your qualification and significantly strengthen your chances on the job market.

Thanks to our partnership with Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, you will also receive an academically recognized university certificate from an internationally renowned institution.

In addition, you will receive a Liora certificate of completion confirming your hands-on Data Scientist skills, as well as module certificates after each successfully completed module – ideal for your CV and LinkedIn profile.

Optionally, you can enhance your profile with the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services.

The Data Scientist training can be financed flexibly:

    • Education voucher (Bildungsgutschein): If you are unemployed, seeking employment, or at risk of unemployment, you may be eligible to finance your training through an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) or the Jobcenter. In this case, 100% of the training costs are covered.
    • Installment payments: Alternatively, you can finance the training yourself. We offer flexible installment plans to make your investment easier to integrate into your daily life.
    • Employer-sponsored financing: Many companies support the part-time training of their employees. The Qualification Opportunities Act (Qualifizierungschancengesetz) can also be used for this purpose.

Our advisory team will support you in choosing the financing option that best suits your situation.

The training is based on a hybrid learning concept that combines maximum flexibility with intensive support:

    • 80% practice-oriented self-study on our interactive learning platform
    • 20% live masterclasses via video conferencing with experienced trainers

    You can complete the training:

    • full-time as a bootcamp, or
    • part-time alongside your job

This allows you to optimally balance your training with your professional and personal life, without compromising on quality or learning outcomes.

A Data Scientist’s daily work often follows a recurring data-driven cycle:

    • Collecting, gathering, and storing large volumes of data
    • Identifying needs and formulating the right questions
    • Preparing, cleaning, and integrating data
    • Assessing data quality and validity
    • Exploratory data analysis using statistical methods
    • Selecting, developing, and training models and algorithms
    • Applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI
    • Measuring, evaluating, and continuously improving results

Data Scientists are among the best-paid and most in-demand tech profiles in Germany, resulting in attractive salary prospects:

    • Entry-level salary: approx. €50,000–60,000 gross per year
    • Average salary: around €70,000 gross per year
    • With professional experience: often €80,000–100,000 gross per year, and even more in specialized roles

Actual salaries depend on professional experience, industry, region, and specialization (e.g. machine learning, AI, big data). Due to the strong demand for data-driven experts, this role offers excellent long-term career and development prospects.
