The Analytics Engineer training is designed for beginners, career changers, and professionals who want to further develop their skills in analytics engineering, either part-time alongside their job or full-time – at the intersection of data analytics and data engineering.

Basic knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or business intelligence is helpful. Initial experience with data models, reporting tools, or programming languages such as Python is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.

Before the program starts, you will take an aptitude test that assesses your professional foundations. This ensures that the training is optimally aligned with your profile and career goals.

As the training is 100% online, you will need:

    • a computer or laptop
    • a stable internet connection
    • a webcam for live masterclasses

Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive recognized certificates that validate your qualification in analytics engineering and improve your chances on the job market.

Thanks to our partnership with Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, you will also receive an academically recognized university certificate from an internationally renowned institution.

In addition, you will receive a Liora certificate of completion confirming your hands-on Analytics Engineer skills, as well as module certificates after each successfully completed module – ideal for your CV and LinkedIn profile.

The Analytics Engineer training can be financed flexibly:

    • Education voucher (Bildungsgutschein): If you are unemployed, seeking employment, or at risk of unemployment, you may be eligible to finance your training through an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) or the Jobcenter. In this case, 100% of the training costs are covered.
    • Installment payments: Alternatively, you can finance the training yourself. We offer flexible installment plans to make your investment easier to integrate into your daily life.
    • Employer-sponsored financing: Many companies support the part-time training of their employees. The Qualification Opportunities Act (Qualifizierungschancengesetz) can also be used for this purpose.

Our advisory team will support you in choosing the financing option that best suits your situation.

The training is based on a hybrid learning concept that combines flexibility with hands-on support:

    • 80% practice-oriented self-study on an interactive learning platform
    • 20% live masterclasses via video conferencing with experienced analytics and data experts

    You can complete the training:

    • full-time as a bootcamp, or
    • part-time alongside your job

This allows you to optimally balance your training with your professional and personal life.

Analytics Engineers ensure that data is reliable, well-structured, and usable for analysis. Typical tasks include:

    • Modeling and transforming data (e.g. in a data warehouse)
    • Building and maintaining analytics data models
    • Ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability
    • Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders
    • Automating data pipelines and transformations
    • Preparing data for reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics

Analytics Engineers are among the most in-demand data profiles on the German job market, resulting in attractive salary prospects:

    • Entry-level salary: approx. €55,000–65,000 gross per year
    • Average salary: around €70,000–75,000 gross per year
    • With professional experience: often €80,000–90,000 gross per year, depending on tech stack, industry, and company size

Actual salaries depend on professional experience, tools used (e.g. SQL, dbt, cloud data warehouses), industry, and region. Due to the growing importance of modern analytics architectures, this role offers very strong long-term career and development prospects.
